ICAEW Charities Online Financial Reporting Awards 2012 Winner's Seal

For the second year running Aberdeen Strathspey & Reel Society has been named as the winner of the smallest charities category in a national awards scheme which recognises excellence in online reporting by charities.

We're pleased to announce that we're organising another Reel & Rowie Coffee Morning following a successful pilot earlier this year.

Join us for a cuppa and rowie at Cults Parish Church Hall as we perform a variety of traditional Scottish music in a relaxed informal setting.

Orchestra win at 2012 Banchory Festival

A team of members from the Society came first place in the orchestra competition of the 2012 Banchory Festival of Scottish Music on 12 May.

New tune to mark conductor's silver jubilee

Aberdeen Strathspey & Reel Society celebrated the final concert of our conductor at the end of his 25th concert season in front of a full house at Aberdeen’s Lemon Tree Studio Theatre on Sunday (29 April) evening.

The senior and junior orchestras of Aberdeen Strathspey & Reel Society are on stage once more, playing a variety of Scottish music. From soulful slow airs to rattlin' reels a great night of traditional entertainment is assured.

Tickets: £9 (£7 concessions) + 10% booking fee

The St Devenick's Dancers will also be performing Scottish dancing during the morning.

Aberdeen Strathspey & Reel Society celebrated the 25th concert season of conductor Graham Reid at our annual Fiddlers’ Rally at Aberdeen Music Hall on Saturday 12 November 2011.
