Save the date of 2 November as the orchestras of Aberdeen Strathspey & Reel Society's return to the Music Hall stage, joined by fiddle and accordion players from across Scotland, for a fantastic evening of traditional Scottish music.

The rally will feature Paul Anderson, one of the North East's finest fiddlers, singer Alistair Ogilvy and compere for the evening is Robert Lovie.

Now based in Glasgow, Alistair grew up in the village of Strathblane, surrounded by beautiful countryside and the Campsie Hills.He was awarded the TMSA Young Traditional Singer of Merit and has featured numerous times on the radio including Take the Floor’, ‘Traveling Folk’, ’Global Gathering’, and a live broadcast from Celtic Connections.

Alistair Ogilvy is in the upper echelon of Scottish singers. His mellifluous tone wows all audiences before him and his love of singing makes everyone smile. - Simon Thoumire
