Annual Competitions – 2024

The Society Annual Competition evening will be held at Hazlehead Primary School starting from 19:00
Friends and Family are welcome to come along and support the competitors, there are prizes and trophies to be one and all society members are invited to enter.

Categories offered are:-

• Juniors 12 years and under – the Jean Kidd Trophy
• Juniors 13-16 years – the ASRS Shield
• Seniors – Slow Air – the AAF Trophy
• Seniors – March, Strathspey & Reel – the Les Wheeler Trophy
• Open Accordion – the Kenny Young Quaich
• Ensemble Group – the Dave Beaton Trophy
• Own Composition – the Caithness Bowl
• Best all-round competitor under 23 years – the Ian Fraser Award
• Best all-round achievement over the year by a Junior Member
• Most Improved Fiddler – the Louis Argo Award

Note : If possible please submit “Own Composition” entries two weeks in advance for consideration by the adjudicator.
